Functie: Procurement Manager, region (Noord Brabant, the Netherlands)

The organisation
Our client is a world's leading manufacturer with several manufacturing facilities in Europe. For their facility in The Netherlands in the region of
Arnhem or Nijmegen, we are looking for a professional Purchasing Manager.

Your Mission
You will be accountable for the management of the Procurement Department supporting our manufacturing facilities in the Netherlands and Baltic countries. To achieve your goals you will work closely together with our strategic sourcing & procurement department and your internal customers.

Your role and responsibilities
to ensure the conformity of procurement processes on your site,
to optimize your vendors portfolio based on Risk Assessment, TCO and SLA's,
to pro-actively identify cost improvement projects and support there implementation,
to manage and conduct all business and / or contracts,
to understand and support environmental, health & safety requirements
and to inform suppliers and subcontractors regarding their commitments
to meet these rules and expectations,
to lead negotiations with support of Central Buyers when appropriate,
to create or support a decision making framework related to Capital projects,
optimization of processes and efficiency improvement,
to manage supplier relationships and communication and implementation
of new opportunities
with various departments professionally,
to initiate and professionalise monitoring tools.

Your Profile
Management experience: minimum four years,
Finished MBA or University education,
Several years of Senior technical Procurement experience and a strong
ability to negotiate,
Coaching; Communicative and skilled to promote team work.
Managing; Organised, open minded, listening to others and capable of driving several
purchasing projects simultaneously,
Analytical and reporting capacity,
Fluent in English.
