The sourcing budget of our client amounts to billions of euros annually and they are currently focused on optimizing
their procurement and supply chain strategy. This position therefore represents an outstanding opportunity for a senior
professional to implement and develop knowledge and techniques necessary to achieve the highest standards in global
purchasing and supply chain. You will co-operate with other expert and senior professionals within the team, work within
a multinational environment and help to drive the success of our client in the fmcg industry.

Master a complex Sourcing process
High level sourcing involves careful and sophisticated analysis, reporting and planning and excellent intercultural and
negotiation skills. As a senior sourcing specialist, you must therefore be able to gather pro-actively sourcing data with
regard to specific functional or geographical activities, working closely with colleagues within Sourcing, Supply Chain
and the relevant Business Units. This analysis will lead to detailed reports, followed by recommendations how you will
improve the procurement and supply chain processes. You will be involved in the implementation of new strategies and
processes, source and negociate raw materials and NPR on a global level, while monitoring and benchmarking the
performance of suppliers. Our client is committed to the personal and professional growth of all its employees.

Candidate profile
Applicants for this role will ideally have a university or mba degree in procurement or supply chain and five to ten years
of work experience within a world class procurement organization. Affinity with, or experience in the fmcg industry is an
advantage and knowledge on implementation of lean strategies appreciated. You will also possess a high level of written
and verbal ability in order to communicate data and recommendations in compelling presentations. Your personal integrity
and ethical/moral standards will be impeccable.

Key accountabilities:
- Proactively source, identify & deliver savings,
- Improve procurement and supply chain operations in line with set targets;
- Support the management and engagement of suppliers where efficiency improvement opportunities exist and/or changes
are required;
- Engage with Global Procurement teams and local country teams to support/implement generic (service) agreements;
- Undertake selected vendor management activities and manage contract processes;
- Supplier negotiations on world class level;
- Engage with internal customers and external suppliers within the portfolio;
- Identify, build and maintain effective key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills;
- Proven track record of leading and delivering successful projects.

Salary indication:
Depending on education and experience between 55.000 - 75.000,00 euros anual, with excellent secondary benefits.
